Celebrating Vintage Classics!

The Vintage Classics that we love……..

Heidi was Sheryl’s favourite story growing up!

Tom loves the Hare with Amber Eyes. “It’s the most wonderful memoir I’ve ever read. It shows the eternal value of small objects”.

The Master and Margarita is one of the truly great thought provoking Russian novels,” says Wendy.

Helen believes Stoner is a rediscovered great American novel.

Maggie says: “The Examined Life is a truly therapeutic read about human nature and how we discover our true selves.”

Rosy’s favourite vintage will always be Atonement, as the story has stayed
with her long after she read it.

Kira says: “I loved Peter Pan as a child, it was filled with adventure, magic and children who could fly! As an adult I still love it, because it makes me feel like anything is possible if you just believe. (Plus who really wants to grow up?!?)”

Curious Vintage

Martin felt that The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time gave him an understanding of a very real struggle, and provided a small insight into autism while being told in a witty and engaging way.

Janet loves Bridget Jones by Helen Fielding as Bridget is a great character and always makes her laugh!

GillianGillian’s favourite is Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks as it’s a beautiful love story with a  harrowing backdrop. A must read for all!
