We are celebrating Independent Bookshop Week 2019 with Nielsen Books

We have had the lovely Jo from Nielsen Book services joining us today as part of IBW 2019’s bookshop job swap! Jo joined the Chorleywood Bookshop team for the day (arriving with pastries – we liked her already) and was promptly put to work. Discussing events and marketing with Kira and then joining Helen on the shop floor, Jo priced cards, re-did displays, helped customers and shared her must read titles with us!

Jo said “I have had an absolutely fantastic day working with the team at Chorleywood Bookshop – working on displays, pricing and chatting to customers! The team are warm, friendly and knowledgeable and the shop is filled with brilliant books, cards and gifts.”

Jo was a delight and we wish she could join the team!
