Welcome to our website. This is the online home of both our lovely shops: the Chorleywood Bookshop and the Gerrards Cross Bookshop. If you want to book places for one of our many high profile events, purchase a limited edition book, or find out how to get hold of us to place orders or make a query, you’re in the right place!
We would love you to pop in to one of our shops too. The best thing about owning independent bookshops is hearing all about the books you love (and hate!) and sharing our passion for reading with you.

We are chock-full of fantastic public events which fulfill our aims of bringing real books to real people. See literature come to life at our events which range from our festivals (The Chorleywood Literary Festival and the Chorleywood Children’s Literary Festival) to evenings out with some of the world’s most famous authors.
Plus, don’t miss our school events. We love taking books into schools as this is where passions come to life. We work with schools in a variety of ways, bringing authors, selling books and helping with library recommendations. We are always looking for new ways to engage students of all ages with books, so if you are a teacher and have any ideas you’d like to make happen, click here to work with us.
