Our work with schools
Our work with schools is a key part of what we do.
We provide a comprehensive range of services and expertise from stocking libraries and sourcing the latest textbooks to organising author visits to your school for talks and book signings.
Order with us
Whether it’s re-stocking your entire library or sourcing books to support your curriculum needs, we are always here to fulfil orders for schools and we endeavour to offer substantial discounts and a speedy service.
We manage academic and library school orders throughout the year as well as sourcing books students need when starting at a new school, and we can deliver them to your school.
Our invaluable bookselling knowledge will help you choose what books will best suit your school’s academic needs and library. We can also provide books for your annual prize giving events.
Author events
We regularly arrange author visits to schools which, in our experience, are simply the best way to get students excited about reading and writing. We work with many primary and secondary schools and will use our extensive links with publishers to always find an author to best suit each age group.
Alternatively, if you have organised an author to visit your school, we are more than happy to attend as your expert bookseller. We can often sell the books at a negotiated discounted rate.
Book Fairs and Vouchers
We can organise Book Fairs for your school, offering wonderful selections of new and classic books for all ages and interests. We will work with you to curate a list that perfectly fits your curriculum, objectives and children, and promise that there will be no stationery or novelty items in our stock.
We can supply our own book vouchers (to encourage families to support our bookshop) and National Book Tokens of any value and quantity for your school’s prize events or rewards.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Louise Glasspoole, email schools@cwbookshop.co.uk for more information or even just for a bit of a chat about how we can help and what we could offer your school.
