Our bookshops have been supporting their communities for over 85 years!

Chorleywood Bookshop has been serving its local community of schools and readers for 50 years and Gerrards Cross has been supporting its local community for nearly 35 years. That is over 85 years of bookselling experience we have to offer you.

Whether you are looking for a special gift, a holiday read, the latest bestsellers, poetry, a travel book or a classic novel our friendly and well-read team are always on hand to help.

In fact, we also have a wide range of carefully selected greetings cards, diaries and gifts for you too!

We stock a select range of greeting cards, in fact we won the award in 2018 for the best independent bookstore retailer of greeting cards by the card industry in 2018. We also have beautiful wrapping paper, notelets, diaries and a carefully selected range of gifts including quality children’s games.

We support local bookgroups including member discounts. Our passion is to encourage reading for all age groups, so do pop in for a chat and find out what we have to offer.
