Back in 2020, a little girl called Betsy visited Chorleywood Bookshop and stole our hearts.

At just two years old, Betsy was diagnosed with a rare and inoperable brain tumour that has left her blind. However despite the hardships, Betsy is endlessly positive, resilient, wise beyond her years and determined to share her optimism with the world.

We can’t wait to welcome Betsy back to the bookshop where she’ll be signing copies of her wonderful book Out of the Woods.
